Caring and Sharing - Caring for the elderly and physically or mentally frail

Company Background

Caring for the elderly and physically or mentally frail

Caring Sharing & Company Ltd. specialises in Live-in and Dementia care. Our approach to supporting people is to enable them to live safely in their own homes. The way we implement this is innovative, cost-effective and proactive.

We offer a hands-on, personal service and we are inspected, regulated and approved and by Commission for Social Care and Inspection (CSCI).

The company was born out of our experience of caring for elderly relatives over the last 7 years, one of whom had terminal cancer and two others different forms of dementia.

We are distinctive in that we are totally committed to providing education and training, not only to our own staff and service-users’ families but also to outside private organisations, charities, communities and professional bodies.

We offer a number of training sessions, including:

· Strategies for dealing with Dementia(duration: 3hrs)

· Life History Development Training The past – a key to caring in the future (duration 3hrs)

· Living today with Dementia. But what about tomorrow? based on the Alzheimer’s Society’s accredited training entitled “Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow” (duration either one day or two half days)

The response to this training has been extremely positive. A short list of references include: Barnet Carers, Willow Care Homes, Finchley Progressive Synagogue, and Barnet Learning Disability Training Consortium.

Professional Sector Seminars

We also advise, support and work with Solicitors, Accountants and Independent Financial Advisors in helping then to run seminars and inform their clients about care planning. Our role in these events is to encourage forward thinking by outlining the possible scenarios that people will need to consider sooner or later, either with regard to their own circumstances or when considering care for elderly parents or relatives.
