Child Care First Aid
Course Overview
This course was developed in conjunction with the NCMA and Pre-School Learning Alliance to meet the requirements of the National Standards. All childminders in England and Wales must now pass a first aid course when they register. This should ideally be taken while they are registering, but certainly within six months of receiving their registration certificate. The course offers a comprehensive guide to administering First Aid and each delegate receives a manual.
Who is it for?
This course is for those responsible for the care of young children, particularly childminders and Early Years workers. The course is also recognised for the purpose of registration as an Early Years professional. It can be used to provide evidence for those working towards an NVQ in Child Care and Education (Level 3).
