NEW OPPORTUNITIES WITH JEMCARE TRAINING & CONSULTANCY

We understand that this is a very difficult time for all concerned, but Jemcare, in partnership with the East of England Redundancy package, are able to offer courses which can help those employees affected get back into new work as soon as possible.

Our service is aimed at employers who have staff who are:

At notice of redundancy
Newly redundant

Our service will enable you to provide a package of support for your staff delivered by experienced professionals. Tailored to meet the needs of you and your employees, the FREE support could include:

- Assessment of individual skills and development of a Job Campaign Plan
- Support with CV preparation, interview and presentation skills
- Training to meet skills gaps
- Help with securing a new job

The above also applies to those outside of your organisation that you know are affected by redundancies.

SAVE MONEY BY REDUCING YOUR REDUNDANCY COSTS

In addition, if you have staff being made redundant and vacancies in other areas of the business, we will be able to re-train or up-skill employees to enable them to be re-deployed into these roles, thereby reducing your redundancy costs and the pain of parting with tried and trusted colleagues.

VACANCIES

As part of our service, to support people back into work, we may be able to help you fill any vacancies within your business. We will identify suitable candidates for you to interview and will co-ordinate a package of vocational training prior to interview and once the individual has got the job.

Learning Champions

Workplace Learning Champions are dedicated members of your team who will be given the skills to enable your organisation to take a strategic overview of workforce development. Your Champion will be able to identify skills gaps and be able to look at individual needs through the use of coaching and will help your organisation address issues of retention and succession planning.

HOW MUCH DOES THE CHAMPION PROJECT COST?

The Workplace Learning Champion course and support is fully funded for eligible organisations in the East of England. The project allows you to select a member of your staff and have them trained for FREE.

WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP?

Jemcare will be running courses, in the Hertfordshire and Essex areas, over the next few months. Please call the office for more information and to find out if your organisation is eligible.

Train your own staff to assess NVQs and Apprentices — for FREE

With the NEW Assessor Development Project you could train your own in-house assessor for FREE.
An in-house assessor would be able to assess competence as opportunities arise, which could reduce the time needed for an employee to complete an NVQ - and allow you to benefit from increased skills much faster.

We are able to offer workplaces free training and qualifications to help improve your staff numeracy and literacy. These courses should help candidates with report writing, medication logs, diary keeping, care planning and various aspects of a care giver's job role.
